Our website simulates a Clarins salon consultation so we may ask about your skin type as well as the type of treatment required. Our website is laid out under the main beauty topics. Treatment types are shown under these and, mainly in the complexion section, some skin type headings before the correct product display is reached. Alternatively, if you have used Clarins products previously, you can enter the product name or number in the Salon Search. This takes you directly to the Clarins product information page. Initially each product display has details of price, a small picture, "add to basket" and "buy now" buttons. How to pay for your order You may pay for your order by : When payment is to be made by Credit or Debit card, payment is not actioned until the date that the order is made ready for despatch. Following a recent licensing agreement with Clarins, we can now supply Clarins beauty products throughout Europe. If you are purchasing from outside the UK, the payment will be converted from Pounds Sterling into your local currency by the Credit Card company at the prevailing exchange rate. Check the Currency Converter for an up-to-date exchange rate. Please note that this does not include any allowance for banking costs and should only be used as an indicative rate.
When your order is being paid for by cheque, it will be despatched once the cheque has been cleared through the banking system. |

You can be sure that any complaints will be handled in a fair, confidential and effective manner. Any complaints will be acknowledged as soon as possible but, in any event, within 5 working days. We will inform you of the likely timescale for resolving your complaint and keep you informed of progress during our complaints procedure. If your complaint concerns the Clarins product, we may need to seek further advice from our Clarins technical service. Should you feel that a complaint about our service has not been addressed, you may request that your complaint is sent to Clarins UK for their independent arbitration. Orders will be despatched as soon as possible. You will be notified if there should be any unforseen delay or there are any items not in stock. Generally packages are larger than most letterboxes and, for the Special Delivery option, a signature is required for delivery. Cancelling your order We quite understand that you may change your mind and wish to cancel an order. Your right to cancel your order begins as soon as the order is placed. The right ends 7 working days after you have received your order. Working days are Monday to Friday but excluding Public Holidays If you wish to cancel your order once the good have been despatched, we will require you to return them to us at your expense. If you wish to cancel your order, you must contact us in writing by post, to our address as given below, or e-mail. A phone call does not meet the requirements of the regulations. The effective date for cancellation is the date on which your communication is sent. This is to ensure that you have the full 7 working day period for the right to cancel. When you cancel an order, ownership of the products sent to you reverts to Number Four Beauty Salon. You also have a duty to restore the products to us Any products which are returned, under your right to cancel your order, must be kept in "as new condition", in the original, unopened packaging. We will return the full cost of your order including the delivery charge within 30 days. Please note that, due to the personal nature of the products, we cannot give a refund on products which have been opened or tampered with in any way. Alternatively, if the order is not returned to us, it must be made available for collection by us. In the event of collection being required, you will be responsible for the direct cost of recovering the ordered items. Please note : This cost may well be higher than the cost of you returning them to us. When an order is placed, you will be told in writing about the right to cancel. Following your decision to cancel an order, there is a duty of care of the products for 6 months. During this period, if you are requested in writing to make the products available to us, the duty of care is open-ended. |
